We have the pleasure to announce the online release of our annual report 2021.<\/h2>\n

In this second year marked by the pandemic of COVID-19, urbaMonde has been obliged to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. Despite the hazards, 2021 has proven itself to be a solid year for our association : the majority of our activities has been carried out with success, we have completed the reorganization of the French team and could return to the field, especially in Dakar. What a pleasure to find our partners !<\/p>\n

New international cooperation projects, publications, studies, webinars, workshops, conferences, media coverage and collaborations varied : we have gained visibility at both the franco-swiss and international levels, and have strengthened our links with the groups capita\u00b7es-organized, with our operational partners on our areas of intervention, as well as with the academic world.<\/p>\n

The global challenges we face, accented by the context of a pandemic and climate change, confirm the urgency of the implementation of the right to the city and the right to adequate housing. They reinforce our belief that the inhabitant\u00b7es and users\u00b7eras, to end-users\u00b7ales of the urban space are carriers\u00b7euses solutions, inclusive and innovative, and must be at the heart of the processes that produce the city and their habitat.<\/p>\n

This is why, in 2021, urbaMonde has continued its commitment to sustainable cities and produced by capita\u00b7es, notably by strengthening its work to support disadvantaged communities and their collective actions in favour of a habitat that is more inclusive, more resilient, and accessible to all\u00b7your. The solidarity of local and international remains at the heart of our activities as a central issue to co-create and share effective solutions to current and future challenges.<\/p>\n
