UrbaSEN and the Senegalese Federation of Capita\u00b7es are the winners of gold of the World Habitat Awards<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Since its foundation, urbaMonde support<\/a> urbaSEN and the Senegalese Federation of Capita\u00b7es.<\/p>\n

The first project supported capita\u00b7es disadvantaged suburbs of Dakar for the reconstruction of homes affected by the floods, in working with community-based organizations and savings groups. It was followed by a phase of improvement of the habitat of these marginalized populations, with in particular a strengthening of the technical support provided by urbaSEN, and then by the development of a production model of the habitat that is affordable, sustainable, co-operative and non-speculative.<\/p>\n

The association is very pleased that its historical partners receive this year’s international recognition through the World Habitat Awards !<\/p>\n

These awards, organised by World Habitat, are the main global price in respect of housing. The winner\u00b7es receive 10 000 \u00a3 and have the opportunity to participate in international development projects.<\/i><\/p>\n
