It also serves as a forum for the exchange of educational digital resources, and the management and governance of african cities in order to promote sustainable urban development.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HWu89f2hjBY\" width=\"100%\" height=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"spip\">Urban development in Africa<\/h2>\n<p>In African cities, housing, transportation, social services, urban spaces, the productive activities are the result of initiatives and investments &#8211; institutional, formal and informal, public and private &#8211; led by a plurality of actors\u00b7rices. The dynamic incremental, sometimes experimental co-production of urban, represent a way of doing the town that the different actors struggle sometimes to track and articulate with the public action, or even to (re)know.<\/p>\n<p>This MOOC is engaging researcher\u00b7its, practitioner\u00b7nes and professional\u00b7the urban public and private sector from\u00b7es including countries of the francophone and anglophone Africa.&nbsp;<strong>It also gives the word to the inhabitant\u00b7es and user\u00b7es of the city<\/strong>&nbsp;and relies on concrete experience and lived to construct narratives of this co-production of urban and propose courses of action.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"spip\">For that&nbsp;?<\/h2>\n<p>The MOOC is intended first of all to the practitioner\u00b7nes of the african city, including management of technical services\/services of the urban planning of local communities and agents of the state services and\/or operators of land-use and habitat\/for the provision of services (enterprises, public or private water and sanitation agencies, habitat, etc) open to new methods and approaches of the social intermediation and institutional.<\/p>\n<p>More generally, it caters to all the leaders associative\u00b7ves, bearer\u00b7people of approaches and projects, actors.presenters economic, but also consultant\u00b7es, professional and\u00b7academics and students\u00b7es who want to complete their training.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a class=\"spip_out\" href=\"https:\/\/courses.africancitieslab.org\/courses\/course-v1:Gret+001+2022\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\">Link to register for the MOOC<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"spip\">Partners and supports<\/h2>\n<p>GRET, UCLG Africa, EPFL<br class=\"autobr\">ALGA, Coaching Territorial, regional Council of the Oriental Development Agency of the Oriental, Echos Communication, University Mohammed 1 Oujda<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The factory urban collective&nbsp;: ideas and tools for co-producing african cities &nbsp; UrbaMonde was involved in the creation of a MOOC on the factory urban collective in Africa, following a series produced for the&nbsp;African Cities Lab.
