{"id":1583,"date":"2023-11-09T12:29:53","date_gmt":"2023-11-09T11:29:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/preview.urbamonde.org\/?p=1583"},"modified":"2026-04-27T11:19:24","modified_gmt":"2026-04-27T09:19:24","slug":"3rd-national-seminar-of-ttc-in-brazil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/urbamonde.org\/en\/3rd-national-seminar-of-ttc-in-brazil\/","title":{"rendered":"3rd national seminar of TTC in Brazil"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"spip\">Organized to commemorate 5 years of the project inclusive of VAT, the event was the opportunity for an in-depth exploration of models of Community Land Trust (CLT)\u00a0; this in the presence of representatives of the movement from around the world.<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>October 28, 2023, with our partner\u00a0<a class=\"spip_out\" href=\"https:\/\/catcomm.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\">Catalytic Communities<\/a>\u00a0held its 3rd national seminar in Rio de Janeiro, in which our project manager, Nina Quintas was able to participate in person.<\/p>\n<div class=\"spip_document_555 spip_document spip_documents spip_document_image spip_documents_center spip_document_center\">\n<figure class=\"spip_doc_inner\"><a class=\"spip_doc_lien mediabox\" href=\"https:\/\/urbamonde.org\/IMG\/jpg\/53302184686_46d7986353_k.jpg\" type=\"image\/jpeg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/urbamonde.org\/IMG\/jpg\/53302184686_46d7986353_k.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1152\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Representative-e-s CLT Puerto Rico (Ca\u00f1o Martin Pe\u00f1a), Houston (<a class=\"spip_out\" href=\"https:\/\/www.houstonclt.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\">Houston Community Land Trust<\/a>) and London (the<a class=\"spip_out\" href=\"https:\/\/www.londonclt.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\">London Community Land Trust<\/a>) participated.<\/p>\n<div class=\"spip_document_556 spip_document spip_documents spip_document_image spip_documents_center spip_document_center\">\n<figure class=\"spip_doc_inner\"><a class=\"spip_doc_lien mediabox\" href=\"https:\/\/urbamonde.org\/IMG\/jpg\/53302190966_5760f323fd_k.jpg\" type=\"image\/jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/urbamonde.org\/IMG\/jpg\/53302190966_5760f323fd_k.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1367\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>This was a historic moment for the project and a unique experience of building networks and exchange of experience between CLTs around the world.<\/p>\n<div class=\"spip_document_557 spip_document spip_documents spip_document_image spip_documents_center spip_document_center\">\n<figure class=\"spip_doc_inner\"><a class=\"spip_doc_lien mediabox\" href=\"https:\/\/urbamonde.org\/IMG\/jpg\/53301335047_7b47386028_k.jpg\" type=\"image\/jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/urbamonde.org\/IMG\/jpg\/53301335047_7b47386028_k.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1367\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"spip_document_558 spip_document spip_documents spip_document_image spip_documents_center spip_document_center\">\n<figure class=\"spip_doc_inner\"><a class=\"spip_doc_lien mediabox\" href=\"https:\/\/urbamonde.org\/IMG\/jpg\/53302570774_46827e1dec_k.jpg\" type=\"image\/jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/urbamonde.org\/IMG\/jpg\/53302570774_46827e1dec_k.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1367\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>The participant-e-s have had the opportunity to discuss the potential of the model in Brazil and to see the impact of CLTs in the world, especially for vulnerable communities.
