for two years, the campaign For a Habitat solidarity<\/i> has valued the results of two cooperation programmes devoted to improving the lives of the vulnerable populations of the cities of the South and benefited from the fact that the expertise of local partners from urbaMonde in Senegal and Nicaragua – is the association urbaSEN, the Senegalese Federation of the Inhabitants, the co-op Multipro of Matagalpa and the Central cooperatives in Nicaragua \u2013 the CENCOVICOD.<\/p>\n
This information campaign is deployed in the canton of Geneva and Vaud, and was a priority target audiences the following : membership of associations of the population – a priority of commons of Carouge, Meyrin, Geneva City and Vernier – members of housing co-operatives in geneva, partners, private – offices of study, business, etc – members and supporters of urbaMonde, services and agents of Commons of Carouge, Meyrin, Geneva, Vernier, and Lausanne.<\/p>\n
In order to adapt to the health measures related to the pandemic COVID-19, a conference cycle in-line, dedicated to the habitat, collaborative and supportive, has been organised in early 2021. Watch below the various themes addressed throughout this cycle.<\/p>\n
This campaign has enabled the production of more videos, and to disseminate and amplify the voices of the inhabitant\u00b7es in their project of participative housing in Senegal and Nicaragua, as well as showing the international support of cooperatives in geneva.<\/p>\n
During this campaign, urbaMonde was able to broadcast his two films with sound and images of the activities of the groups capita\u00b7es of Dakar and Matagalpa.<\/p>\n

This film tells the story of a citizen movement born there are more than 10 years in the heart of the suburbs of Dakar. Hit\u00b7es by severe floods, the inhabitant\u00b7es have had to face many urban problems. UrbaMonde and the local NGO urbaSEN have joined forces to support the population to improve their living environment.<\/p>\n
