{"id":1653,"date":"2025-09-10T11:00:28","date_gmt":"2025-09-10T09:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/preview.urbamonde.org\/?p=1653"},"modified":"2025-02-17T11:01:42","modified_gmt":"2025-02-17T10:01:42","slug":"study-on-access-to-land-and-financing-of-projects-of-habitat-participatory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/urbamonde.org\/en\/study-on-access-to-land-and-financing-of-projects-of-habitat-participatory\/","title":{"rendered":"Study on access to land and financing of projects of habitat participatory"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"col-lg-8 article-left\">\n<h2 class=\"spip\">At the initiative of urbaMonde and World Habitat, the Network CoHabitat has published two case studies on access to land and financing of projects of habitat participatory in Africa, Europe and Latin America.<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>habitat collaborative refers to a multitude of practices, where people come together to take collective control of the planning, management, and &#8211; sometimes &#8211; from the construction or the improvement of their living environment, including housing, community spaces, or public recreation areas or income-generating activities, among others.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Participative housing is extremely diverse and does not guarantee that a construction that is more respectful of the environment, or a mode of life in low-carbon footprint, but it indeed gives people the power to make collective decisions about their lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p>As shown in these two case studies produced by urbaMonde, the participation of the inhabitant\u00b7es, the interactions with the neighbourhood, the cooperation with the public authorities and other stakeholders can lead to complete projects, including innovations in the field of ecodesign and energy efficiency, affordability, of circular economy and solidarity, social inclusion and mutual assistance between neighbor\u00b7es.<\/p>\n<p>In all cases, habitat projects, collaborative, always involve a double complexity\u00a0:\u00a0<strong>how to access a field with a security of tenure, and how to access affordable financing and inclusive<\/strong>.
