urbaMonde is pleased to announce the release of the documentary « Why community-led housing is a sustainable solution? », a 39-minute film that presents the CoHabitat Network and the work of some of its members worldwide.
Filmed in Geneva in October 2024 during the celebration of its 10th anniversary, the documentary explores the history, values, and impact of the CoHabitat Network—an international space for dialogue and action connecting communities, practitioners, and allies committed to housing justice.
Through voices from Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America, the film highlights different forms of community-led housing as a practical, sustainable, and affordable response to today’s housing challenges, while advocating for their recognition as legitimate and legal housing solutions.
