Our partner, the Philippine Action for Community-led Shelter Initiatives (PACSII), is announcing the 2026 edition of the Community Architecture Mentorship Program (CAMP), a training programme dedicated to participatory design and people-led housing.
Taking place in Davao City from 20 to 22 April 2026, CAMP 2026 will bring together practitioners, advocates, and communities to advance inclusive, community-driven approaches to housing.
Designed as a training series, the programme aims to foster a Community of Practice committed to strengthening collective and community-led housing across the Philippines. It promotes a holistic understanding of housing—not merely as a physical structure, but as a process shaped by environmental, technical, legal, financial, socio-cultural, and institutional dimensions.
Accredited training with CPD points
Accredited for Continuing Professional Development (CPD), the programme allows licensed architects to earn 7 CPD points. It is also open to professionals from other fields, as well as government and NGO practitioners.
A collaborative initiative
CAMP 2026 is organised by the Technical Assistance Movement for People and Environment, Inc. (TAMPEI), UAP Sinlayan Dabaw, and the Department of Architecture at UP Mindanao, in partnership with PACSII, the Homeless People Federation Philippines Inc – Mindanao, and LinkBuild, Inc., with support from the Asian Coalition for Housing Rights (ACHR), the CoHabitat Network, and urbaMonde.
