In the framework of the report GOLD VI of UCLG published in 2022, urbaMonde and the Network CoHabitat have contributed to a number of case studies based on their experience of successful projects to overcome inequality and urban land.
The report, entitled “Pathways to urban and territorial equality”, has the objective of understanding the state of inequality and urban land in the world and to call for a radical change of the place of local and regional governments in the fight against this global challenge.
It analyzes and articulates possible answers to the multiple manifestations of inequality, focusing particularly on their territorial dimension, and on the opportunities for local and regional governments to take practical action, and, if possible, collective, against these inequalities.
Several loaded·es of projects urbaMonde, as well as Network partners CoHabitat contributed to this report with various case studies.
