In October 2022, we had the pleasure of meeting the delegation of Nurseries Urban, a network that urbaMonde support and co-ordinate, in the course of his study trip in France.
during one intense week, the team has traded with elected·es, activists, and designers specialized in urban planning, temporary and transitory across multiple initiatives of the government and the civil society, in spaces ” remaining ” and previously under-used, in the metros of Paris and Lyon.
The delegation also participated in a public round table on the planning of transition at the international Centre for research on environment and development, where it has interacted with an audience of planners and passionate·es in creating space.
This trip marks the beginning of trade and perspectives to advance the ways in which the city, in France and in Africa, towards more participatory and taking into account local contexts.
